Sharjah Islamic Bank concludes health campaign and approves it as annual event

Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has concluded its comprehensive health campaign organized in collaboration with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Health Awareness Dept. and the Sharjah Nursing Institute on Thursday 11th June 2009.
Mohamed Abdullah, SIB's Chief Executive Officer, stressed that health is one's most precious asset, and as a national bank that seeks community development, it is our duty to protect these assets by providing a healthy work environment to employees, who we considered our real assets, as a token of appreciation for their trust in SIB.
At the final ceremony, the CEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank praised all teams, government bodies and companies who contributed to the success of the health campaign, and he announced that the event will be organized annually to assure their commitment to providing the utmost care to employees. He then distributed appreciation certificates to the organizers and external contributors including the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, the Department of Health Awareness, Sharjah Institute of Nursing, the Ministry of Health represented by the Center for ambulance services and the Department of preventive medicine.
Mohamed Abdullah also honored the organizing committees (bank staff) and the winners of the motivational challenges, which included "Stop Smoking", "Perfect Fit" and "Biggest Loser".
