- PRESS RELEASE
Almasa Distribution hardware distribution and network solution specialists are showcasing their new division 'Almasa Networking Solutions' for the first time at Gitex this year.
As a result of many recent partnerships, the dedicated business unit represents: 3Com, Acelink, Blue Coat Systems, Exinda Networks, Extreme Networks, Huawei, Hubbell and Mitel Networks. In addition, a live network will operate on the Almasa stand at Gitex - made possible through the networking vendors' technologies.
Gitex is the ideal platform to exhibit the many benefits of partnering with Almasa Distribution and Networking Solutions; Almasa expects that the show will open many new business relationships. Headed by DK Roy, Almasa Networking Solutions will strongly position the company at the forefront of value-added distribution by helping resellers and integrators sell, install, and maintain network systems for businesses. In addition, the formation of a new 'network lab' will enable deep tech support, design and consultancy of multi-vendor programs. "By giving our customers a sales and technical support resources dedicated to integrated networking solutions, we can help them identify, develop and grow the opportunities now emerging right across the market." commented DK Roy.
According to DK Roy, the market today is looking for greater flexibility in their networking demands and are increasingly savvy to the advancements with integrated data and communication solutions. Working with best of breed solutions and by ensuring their interoperability, integrators can break through the complexity and achieve the level of sophistication brought through the convergence of these technologies. "The 'network lab' provides a proof of concept - a protected environment for testing and simulation. We also offer Factory Approved Testing on behalf of select vendors" DK Roy furthered. Plans are already in place to develop the lab into a secure virtual environment, therefore increasing the service reach across the Middle East. By accessing the extranet, integrators will be able to send network images, work in simulation or create a virtual private network (VPN) for real time technical support with Almasa's product experts.
