CEO of Union Properties steps down

Union Properties PJSC (UP), one of the leading property developers in the United Arab Emirates, has announced today that the company has accepted the resignation of Mr. Simon E. Azzam in his capacity as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Despite seeing such an important longstanding management figure like Simon Azzam leave the company, the company also sees this change as a new era in the continuing life of UP, which can only build on all the strengths and positive growth that have been synonymous of the brand for so many years.
A UP spokesperson said, "We would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the BOD, Management and staff of UP to sincerely wish Mr. Azzam every success in his future endeavors, especially after such a long relationship together."
The company has appointed Mr. Khalid Al Jarwan, as General Manager. Mr. Al Jarwan has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from TULSA University. His experience includes seven years with ADMA-OPCO part of the ADNOC Group as Head of Projects, and for the past five years has been with Dubai Investments Group.
