Noor Dubai victorious at 2009 Promax Arabia Awards

Noor Dubai TV, a recently launched station under the umbrella of Arabian Television Network, announced that it had won two of the coveted honours in the Promax Arabia Awards 2009.

Launched during Ramadan 2008, Noor Dubai surpassed a number of more established networks to capture two silver awards: Best Arabic Programme Promo for Ma'akom Natakamal and Best Something for Nothing Promo for Al Korah fi Mala'ab Kifah.

Promax Arabia celebrates outstanding achievements in television promotion, marketing and design aired in the Arab world.

Buthina Kazim, Noor Dubai Channel Manager, said:
"The success of Noor Dubai in this prominent broadcast event after only a year since its launch is a reflection of the leading position that Noor Dubai TV has gained with viewers around the Middle East."

Participating entries were evaluated and assessed on stringent criteria including innovation, production quality, and success in achieving their objectives.
