The Wave, Muscat hosts Media Awards 2009 winners

The Wave, Muscat, Oman's leading integrated tourism development, received winners from the press categories of this year's Oman Media Awards for a comprehensive tour of the project.

The journalists were briefed on the overall progress of the project including the ongoing handover of completed homes. They also toured the construction site and visited the display units.

Welcoming the delegation, Abdulla Al Shidi, Deputy CEO, The Wave, Muscat, thanked the journalists for their ongoing support and continued interest in one of the region's most admired real estate developments.

Al Shidi said:
"We're grateful to our friends in the media for communicating the many successes of The Wave, Muscat to date and publicizing the enviable position of the Sultanate as a tourism and lifestyle destination without equal in the Gulf. The Wave, Muscat is being developed through a joint venture comprising Oman's Waterfront Investments (representing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman), National Investment funds Company (representing the Omani Pension Funds), and the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Group.
