Abu Dhabi University launches an Entrepreneurship Centre

Abu Dhabi University has launched an Entrepreneurship Centre aimed at supporting innovation and growth for new businesses in the UAE.
H.E. Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, the Abu Dhabi University Chairman of the Executive Board, noted that ADU is aware of the vital role which universities play in the development of knowledge-based economies through cluster development and that young, potential enterprises are key to future economic success. It is therefore essential that the level of support offered to potential entrepreneurs and new businesses is radically improved in the short term.
Bin Harmal added that the centre is designed to contribute to a lasting change in UAE society, and that he is confident that ADU will have in place in all the key components for a successful enterprise culture that will make a significant contribution to the economic development of the UAE by the time the ADU business park opens.
ADU Enterprise will be offering targeted support to help direct ADU students with the development of their ideas and the launching of their projects.
It will develop a business incubator and a comprehensive platform of support (one-stop shop) for the support of ventures, while creating a thriving, supportive community that encourages innovation and business development within the university which will eventually be linked to its business park.
