He added when delays occur; they are typically short ones, although occasionally we need to delay or cancel a flight due to technical reasons or weather. We know our customers regard on-time performance as one of the most important factors when choosing an airline."
Ashby also said that the airline was currently reviewing options for adding new aircraft to its fleet.
"We can see that measured growth over a period of four to five years would provide Sama with new technology aircraft and a convenient flight schedule to the destinations we serve, plus giving us the ability to add new destinations. We will provide further information on our specific plans later this year."
he said.
Sama currently serves Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah, Hail, Tabuk, Gurayat, Rafha and Bishah within the Kingdom and also operates international services to Amman, Aleppo, Alexandria, Assiut, Beirut, Damascus and Sharjah.
