Wafi welcomes Dubai Summer Surprises 2009

Dubai will again be the focus of attention for the world, as this high-profile event provides the ideal getaway for family entertainment during the summer months; and Wafi is prepared to continue to reinforce its commitment to firmly establishing Dubai on the world's summer tourist destination map.

Wafi, as one of the leading and prominent shopping destinations in the Middle East, is celebrating the yearly Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), with incredible promotions. As part of 'Surprising Dubai' there will be the opportunity to win prizes and vouchers.

Working with Dubai Summer Surprises the Art Oasis, in partnership with the Dubai Cultural Council, will have a Go Green theme this year from 9th - 15th July. It is a high-profile showcase for prominent local and regional artists working across mediums such as photography, sculpture and painting.

From 27th July - 7th August there will also be The Collectors Exhibition offering a unique display of interesting collections, drawn from all over Dubai. From antiques to jewellery, cameras to memorabilia featuring His Highness Sheikh Zayed.

This exhibition lets you take a look at the obsessions of the region's collectors. It encourages and supports collecting; acknowledges the truly remarkable collections, and inspires beginners to embark on a fun and educational pursuit.
