Jacky's Express expands to Ajman and Al Ain

The latest Jacky's Express stores at Ajman City Centre and at the Bawadi Mall in Al Ain are the only multi-brand electronics outlets catering to local Ajman and Al Ain residents.

"When we first created the retail concept, Jacky's Express in 2005, we knew it would act as a springboard for growth into new Emirates within the UAE. Ajman City Centre is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Ajman with a good weekday and weekend traffics, and we believed there is a need for a specialty electronic store like Jacky's in a strong mall such as Ajman City Centre,"

said Jimmy Patel, General Manager, Jacky's Electronics.

"Additionally, our initial expansion in Al Ain has been successful as we have received an encouraging response in terms of footfall and sales. Jacky's Express in Bawadi Mall caters not only to local Al Ain residents but visitors from neighbouring Oman," he added.

The opening of these new stores corresponds to a medium to long term confidence the company has in the UAE economy, and Jacky's Electronics is still optimistic on the country's electronics industry.

"With the way the country has grown, Jacky's realised the need to be where their customers are and today our customers are spread out and not clustered around the main cities. The company is also seeing a change in the buying trends of customers and has been adapting itself accordingly," Patel added.

"Customers are now opting to buy products that are of good quality yet affordable rather than plush products, such as purchasing new mobile phones and video games for wife and kids instead of jewellery or expensive holiday get away. And with the start of the summer season, some malls are working closely with electronics retailers like us in carrying out innovative promotions and value offers to generate more footfalls and to keep revenues stable into their stores. Jacky's summer promotion kicked off well giving us the added confidence to achieve our sales budget," explained Patel.

The two Jacky's Express outlets are home to various brands of notebooks, games, mobile phones, digital cameras, digital devices, LCD TVs and personal and healthcare products.

Jacky's Express in Ajman City Centre is located opposite Magic Planet and is accessible from all car parks, while the Bawadi Mall outlet is on the first level next to the soon to be opened cinemas.
