  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, June 16 - 2009 at 13:43
  • PRESS RELEASE

Rakeen, one of the region's most dynamic property developers and master planners, has announced that its enhanced website has been activated.

The attractively designed, fully overhauled site includes upgraded features aimed at enhancing customer service, communication, and information dissemination. It will contain more videos and pictures, which can be easily downloaded via a media centre.

It has been re-organized to be more user-friendly, provide updates on project details such as construction progress, and include links to project websites and partner companies. Rakeen plans to further expand its portal to accommodate different languages such as French, Russian, Farsi, and Arabic.

"A strong online presence gives us an edge amidst today's highly competitive real estate markets. It connects us with our existing clients and gets us in touch with potential customers. Valuable information can be retrieved with a few mouse clicks, and we are certain that visitors of Rakeen.com will appreciate the clear and user-friendly structure of this website, which makes it a helpful tool and pleasant library to browse,"

said Fawzi Bustami, Marketing Executive, Rakeen.

The improved website will allow Rakeen to enhance interaction with brokers and prospective clients and post the company's latest news. Aside from its business functions, the site will also serve as an online platform for Ras Al Khaimah's agenda and visions.

"Rakeen has always been keen on integrating the latest technologies and market-leading services into all its operations. Our new website shows how we are taking our corporate vision and Ras Al Khaimah's development efforts to the next level, as the UAE steadily transforms itself into a digital society. Our website is our window to the global investor," added Ghassan Youssef, Managing Director, Rakeen.

Among the major real estate projects being highlighted by Rakeen are its Al Marjan Island and Bab Al Bahr developments. Extending around 4.5 kilometres into the sea, the $1bn man-made Al Marjan Island has been built to accommodate residential developments, hotels, resorts, recreational facilities and commercial and retail amenities. Bab Al Bahr will serve as the centerpiece development of Al Marjan Island. Other high-profile developments being overseen by Rakeen are Banyan Tree Resort, the RAK Offshore City, Gateway City, RAK Convention Centre and Dana Island.
