Promotions strengthen Zain Bahrain team

Zain Bahrain has announced the promotion of two experienced team members to key posts: Jaffar Abdulla has been promoted to the post of Manager, Regulatory and Interconnection while Dana Bukhammas has been promoted to Manager, Human Resources.
As a Radio Engineer in the start-up team and later, as specialist in the Network Planning and Business Development departments, he gained valuable insights into the Zain technological and commercial roadmap.
His new assignment as Manager, Regulatory and Interconnection will see him play a key role in managing both technical & commercial aspects of Zain Bahrain's growing network of national and international interconnections and ensuring that Zain Bahrain's reputation for co-operation and compliance with telecoms laws and regulations continues to grow from strength to strength.
Jaffar Abdulla has an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology with concentration in Finance built over a foundation B.Sc. degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from the University of Bahrain.
Dana Bukhammas' appointment as HR Manager is an extension of Zain Bahrain's core HR values that recognize leadership and promote innovation among staff.
Dana joined the company in 2003 as a member of the start-up HR team and has since been a core member in the development of HR policies, management of recruitment quality and retention and the shaping of Zain Bahrain's much-admired HR standards. She also has experience as a high-achieving Sales team member.
Dana has a track record as a recognized Team Leader who has initiated several innovative HR management processes at Zain Bahrain. She has helped set up the company's online recruitment process and helped to design and restructure Zain Bahrain's employee rewards program and employee relations program.
Dana Bukhammas has a B.Sc in Business Management from the University of Bahrain and is a certified psychology counselor, a training that helps her in resolving workplace conflicts and in analyzing and planning HR resources management
