Prior to joining CI, Mr. Mashal was an executive director with Bank Julius Baer, the third largest bank in Switzerland.
He was in charge of a team that managed the Onyx MENA Fund one of the first dedicated MENA hedge funds, advised clients on global asset allocation and product selection, and undertook certain private equity advisory transactions.
Previously, he founded and headed the asset management division of Atlas Investment Group, the largest asset management & investment banking company in Jordan and the investment banking arm of the Arab Bank, one of the largest banks in the MENA region.
Mr. Mashal structured and managed several investment institutional funds including a private equity fund for Jordan, a MENA public equity MENA fund and a direct real estate MENA fund.
