1. Avisa Aviation Safety Systems (Avisa), the global airworthiness and safety consultancy, continues to expand its presence in the Middle East.

Avisa announces today that it has now completed a major 9 month contract with Gulf Air covering the airworthiness reviews of its fleet of 26 aircraft.

Wael Zuheir Matar, Head of Engineering Services at Gulf Air, said, "The airworthiness review performed by Avisa was a thorough and worthwhile process. The airworthiness of our fleet is of paramount importance to Gulf Air and we welcome the assistance they provided to ensure that Gulf Air continues to maintain a fleet with the very highest level of safety."

Justin Goatcher, Managing Director of Avisa, said:
"The Gulf Air airworthiness review contract has been one of our largest contracts to date and we greatly appreciate the opportunity Gulf Air has provided us with. We are sure that the work has not only provided them with a means of compliance with a regulatory requirement but added value to the fleet's airworthiness records integrity."

2. Avisa Gulf, the Middle East joint venture between Avisa UK and Al Jaber Aviation, has been awarded the first ever UAE Airworthiness GCAA Part M CAMO approval.

For Avisa Gulf this approval is further recognition of Avisa's fast growing reputation for high quality CAMO services to UAE/GCC based operators and owners.

Avisa Gulf's Abu Dhabi base gives Airlines, Fleet and Individual Operators and Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) the opportunity to source expert services and training locally. An opportunity that will be welcomed by businesses in the region.

Justin Goatcher, Managing Director of Avisa, said, "This approval highlights how we strive to provide bespoke and innovative airworthiness solutions to meet the growing demands of operators and owners in the Middle East."

3. Avisa Gulf has signed a new contract with Al Jaber Aviation, AJA to provide CAMO services for its entire fleet. This contract commenced on 1st June 2009.

Dr Mark Pierotti, COO & Accountable Manager of AJA (Al Jaber Aviation), said, "We selected Avisa Gulf to conduct CAMO support for the 21 AJA aircraft fleet after a detailed business study. We feel Avisa Gulf offers expert qualified compliant CAMO support that was not previously available in the GCC. Avisa Gulf presence in the UAE with UAE GCAA compliance & their UK capability with EASA compliance means they are an excellent qualified support partner with extensive capabilities including CAMO. With a fleet of 21 AJA aircraft we need to be sure we have a top class compliant technical support, we feel Avisa Gulf offers that in their CAMO support product. AJA have also used some other Avisa Gulf services such as Safety Management Training (SMS), that we were very pleased with. We encourage other operators to consider Avisa Gulf for all aviation technical support services from CAMO to training and we are pleased to be a real life actual reference for them."
