EIM Hosting Services and Dell Computer Corporation sign deal at GITEX

Dell Computer Corporation and Emirates Internet and Multimedia, the ISP business unit of Etisalat, today announced a strategic deal to promote EIM Hosting Service.
Under the agreement, Dell Computer Corporation will offer EIM Hosting Customers up to 15% off hardware, software and professional services to provide an end-to-end solution for customer's full outsourcing requirements.
"With up to 15% discount on Dell Computer products when hosting with EIM Hosting services, our customers will be able to benefit in many ways," commented Maroua Naim, General Manager, EIM. "Dell and EIM will be working side-by-side to offer customers a full solution, from the procurement of products and services through to integration and the full hosting services offered by EIM Hosting Service."
The EIM Hosting Service offers customers two solutions, colocation and telehousing. Co-location allows corporate customers to rent space at the eDC in the form of cabinets, secure cages or enclosures in which to install their own server(s), which is provided with electricity, and high-speed connectivity to the Global Internet. Telehousing customers can choose the same options, but will interconnect their equipment directly to disaster recovery centers or any other location they wish.
With significant interest from around the region in EIM Hosting Services growing, the deal with Dell is intended gain further attention from the large corporations, at which the service is targeted.
