The new offices, located in the Taiba Commercial Building in the Shmesani District of Amman, was officially opened by His Excellency Eng. Sahel Majali, Jordan's Minister of Transportation, who heralded in a new beginning for Sabre in Jordan with the cutting of a 'virtual ribbon'.
Following the opening ceremony, top travel agencies from all over Jordan were treated to a number of Sabre product demonstrations by the Sabre Product Team.
"This latest office opening is testament to the significance of Jordan and the rest of the Levant region. Sabre has planned significant investment into Jordan and the surrounding territories because we see enormous growth potential here. Our ability to use our global expertise and experience to meet local needs and provide a more compelling and competitive proposition to our customers played heavily in the decision to augment and strengthen our physical presence in this country,"
said Daniel Naoumovitch, Sabre Travel Network Middle East's chief executive officer.
The ceremony was also succeeded by the signing of three significant contracts between Sabre Travel Network Middle East and Al Tahadi Travel and Tourism, International Traders Travel and Amra Travel and Tourism, three of the most prominent Jordanian travel and tour companies. A further two contracts were renewed, one with Maltrans Travel and Tourism and the other with Al Shammas Travel and Tourism.
