Titled 'Consumer Real Estate Finance in Dubai', the panel discussion on 17 June at The Address' Symphony Ballroom came as part of DPS' special networking and awareness sessions.

Moderated by Adel Lootah, Executive Director of Dubai Property Society, the panelists at the discussion included Fahd Reaz, Senior Product Manager (Personal / Home Finance), Consumer Banking, Noor Islamic Bank; Faisal Iqbal, Head of Secured Assets, Barclays Bank; Sohail Akbar, Head of Sales, Tamweel, and Charles Neil, Chief Executive Officer of Landmark Advisory.

Issues about finance in light of the current economic situation for both developers and investors, the regulations, and the ease and possibility of ensuring a fair deal for all stakeholders were addressed at the forum.

In addition, interest rates, documentation and official procedures were also examined by the experts. An interactive question and answer session that served as the concluding segment of the forum drew the active participation of DPS members and the media persons.
