The Discovery Center store extends the engaging, fun-filled experience of the flagship store at the Avenues Mall, by focusing only on toys as well as special features such as party rooms, video game arcades, stationery, baby products and baby travel goods.

The Baroue store at Discovery Center will feature a Caribou Café outlet for parents to take a break while their children explore the toys at the store. MS Retail is also planning to introduce an interactive play-area at the store - similar to the popular Sea-Serpent at the flagship store - in the coming months. 15% of all products at the store are from the Baroue brand, while other products are globally renowned brands as well as unique brands such as Playmobile and Costumes from UK. All toys and products adhere to international EU and US child safety and quality standards.
MS Retail introduced the region's first one-stop-shop for children and maternity products - Baroue - at The Avenues in September 2007. The home-grown brand, which combined entertainment with quality services and shopping, received instant recognition from patrons in Kuwait as well as global retailers. Baroue was acknowledged as a Superbrand in Kuwait's first ever crop of Superbrands, and also won the 'Innovative Format of the Year' category at the World Retail Awards 2008.
