Aptec wins Symantec's awards for best value added distributor

Aptec Holdings has announced that Aptec Distribution has been awarded the Best Value Added Distributor of the Year - 2009 by Symantec Middle East at its MENA Partner awards held in Dubai.

Govind Haridas, Aptec's Business Unit Manager for Security & Storage, said,

"We are very pleased with this recognition. Demand for security gets stronger in this region especially in the SMB and enterprise sector and our partnership with Symantec has seen substantial results. This recognition from Symantec is the result of this team effort."


"It is with pleasure to get the award for the second year in a row," said Bahaa Salah, managing director at Aptec Distribution. "It means a lot as Symantec is one of our strategic partners. We see potential growth with Symantec as storage and security remains in demand even in a tough time like this."

Aptec won the award for growing Symantec's business in the region by 150% compared to the same period in 2008.
