In addition, IIR Middle East will develop customised training and events for Philips. IIR Middle East will also designate Philips as a preferred business partner and feature Philips products across the different events that it organises.
Diederik Zeven, Senior Director and General Manager of Philips Healthcare Middle East, said:
"Philips and IIR Middle East have collaborated together for many years, since IIR Middle East first organised Arab Health. This agreement is a natural extension of this relationship."
John Hassett, Managing Director Exhibitions, IIR Middle East said, "IIR Middle East is a leading provider of specialist information and services for the academic and scientific, professional and commercial business communities. The strategic alliance with Philips, a company which has interests across all of these business sectors, allows both of our companies to leverage each others' strengths, and take full advantage of the products and services we each offer."
Hospital Build Middle East is the region's first exhibition and congress to bring together investors, commissioners, backers and managers of major healthcare facilities projects with the key suppliers responsible for planning, designing, building, operating, managing and refurbishing those facilities. Philips is the Platinum sponsor of this year's event and highlighted its 'People Focused, Healthcare Simplified' approach.
"Hospital Build is a great example of why we pursued this agreement with IIR. Introducing meaningful innovation in the Healthcare industry is at the heart of our business. Like our customers, we measure our success based upon the impact of our innovations on patient outcomes. We work side by side with healthcare providers in the region, enabling them to provide the best solutions for the key challenges in healthcare, today and in the future," Zeven continued.
"Hospital Build gives us the opportunity to meet and discuss our ideas with key decision makers from the industry, particularly those that are interested in expanding existing facilities or are looking to build new ones," Zeven added.
