On this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Khammas, CEO of Al Ahli Group, said:
"On behalf of UAE and all participating countries, I would like to thank Her Majesty The Queen for her support and care, and to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for hosting the program. I am very happy with our success in achieving the goals set for the program, where we have been able to bring down the barriers of differing cultures and ideas between young people from different countries and continents, providing them with an opportunity to form long term friendships that will contribute to strengthening the ties between these countries through future partnerships when they start working on their projects in which they were taught how to set up and manage by themselves."
"The views and recommendations of the Rulers of the United Arab Emirates and their continued focus on the development of individuals in general and youth in particular, is the main motivation for launching such initiative. Receiving praises from Her Majesty on the program certainly urges us to work on expanding the program to involve more countries and more youth. Therefore, we will aim in the next phase to partner with more government entities and various non-profit organizations to develop it even more," he added.
The participants have undergone intensive training over 3 weeks to learn all about management skills, marketing, finance, and human resources, where they presented their projects at the end of training program showcasing the applied skills and experience they gained in the program through the integrated action plan.
The participants form the different countries will be competing in UAE for the "Best Presented Project Award", where a jury consisting of a selected group of distinguished businessmen and academics will evaluate the presented projects within defined parameters.
Al Ahli Holding Group also works on a number of initiatives via its own Corporate Social Responsibility division focusing on the development, support and empowerment of Arab youth and on the dissemination of thought leadership in the region through different internship and fellowship programs.
