The 2012 Hya Exhibition opens its doors to Dazzle fashionistas from around the region

The 2012 Hya Exhibition, the Middle East's largest Abaya exhibition was inaugurated on Monday the 24th of September, at the Doha Exhibition Center.
The Fourth edition of the Hya Exhibition will feature designers coming from Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA and UAE to showcase the very latest elegant collections of abayas and kaftans as well as stylish evening gowns.
Mr. Lahdan Ghanim Al Mohannadi, Head of Organizing Internal Exhibition and Exhibitions Services Department at the Qatar Tourism Authority commented, "This year's Hya Exhibition will not only be largest edition yet, but will also feature the greatest number of Qatari designers. This prime Fashion exhibition is not limited to Qatar and has successfully attracted a wide audience that come from all around the region to see and benefit from the latest design trends."
"The fourth edition of this spectacular exhibition follows two successful shows in 2011, and will continue to strengthen Qatar's position as a leading Fashion Hub in the Middle East." Added Mr. Al Mohannadi.
The list of participating exhibitors includes 63 designers from Qatar, 12 from Kuwait, 46 from Bahrain, 9 from Saudi Arabia and 16 from UAE.
Hya Exhibition is of the five fundamental yearly events organized by QTA to enable and develop the local tourism industry. The Hya Exhibition empowers and encourages both local and regional talents and flair and serves as the ultimate fashion platform to help showcase captivating designs and fascinating collections.
The 2012 Hya Exhibition opens its doors to the public from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm to 10.00 pm daily from Sunday to Thursday and on Friday from 2.00 pm to 10.00pm. Entry is free.
