The Entrepreneur Business Village (EBV) is an initiative of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders and is planned to be the centre for entrepreneurship in Dubai and the region.

Located in Deira, the EBV project comprises a 60,000 sq ft mixed use business incubator, surrounded by commercial and business organizations that are directly engaged in supporting and providing services to foster entrepreneurship and SMEs.

Commenting on the MoU, Mark Beer, Chairman and CEO of the BBG said,

"The BBG is pleased to be the first business group to sign the partnership with the EBV for this forward looking venture. The SME sector is a vital part both of Dubai's economy and the BBG membership. By supporting the EBV through the signing of this MoU, we will be continuing to contribute to Dubai's economic development and further enhancing the strong links that exist between the UAE and UK linked businesses."

"This is an exciting time for the BBG. Our membership is at its largest since we began 21 years ago and the signing of this MoU complements the ones we have already signed with the Sheikh Mohammed Centre of Cultural Understanding, the Arab Business Angels Network and the Young Arab Leaders UAE."

Through the signing of the MoU, the BBG and EBV will work as a strong partnership in the sharing of relevant information and exchanging of experiences, thus developing a better understanding of the capabilities of the respective groups and their members.

The BBG will encourage its members to become part of the EBV community and, in turn, the EBV will provide business incubation support and mentoring help via the The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders.

Commenting on this collaboration, Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment, said: "We are delighted to sign this MOU with the BBG which will enhance the partnership between the two parties in exchanging information and experiences regarding the members of MBRE. This MOU will also provide a calendar of the upcoming events and networking potentials which will help the members to benefit from best new business opportunities. This collaboration comes in line with the vision of MBRE and Entrepreneur Business Village, to encourage and facilitate the development of business and entrepreneurial activity among UAE nationals and catalyze the development and growth of a key sector of the economy, the small and medium business sector."

Mark Beer continued, "The BBG is an active organisation and is committed to the success of the UAE. As the SME sector is very well represented in our growing membership we welcome any initiatives such as the EBV that further the level of support we can offer our member companies by organizations such as the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders."
