Pay television management company ADD (Arab Digital Distribution) announced the live broadcasts will begin at 1600hrs UAE time on Monday, June 22, which is Day One of the two-week-long Wimbledon championship tournament that takes place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London.
Till this year, Nadal was the unconquered hero of Roland Garros, until Robin Soderling put in an inspired performance to run a weary champion into the clay court of the French Open and Federer snatched the opportunity to add the elusive crown to his glittering array of 13 Grand Slam titles, bringing him on par with frontrunner Pete Sampras.
On the Ladies' side, Venus Williams will seek to extend her winning streak at Wimbledon to three-in-a-row to become the first female player to achieve this feat since Steffi Graf in 1993. Victory would also take her winning tally on the All England Club's grass to six and her Grand Slam tally to eight.
Her greatest rival for the crown could be younger sister Serena, who has a couple of Wimbledon titles in her Grand Slam tally of ten and is favored by the bookmakers.
