Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, the Abu Dhabi University Chancellor, announced that the university has allocated a number of scholarships and financial aid programs for the coming academic year.

Amongst these bequests, the most significant allocation was made by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the form of the Chairman of the ADU Board of Trustees Scholarships which will be awarded to the top twenty secondary school graduates. These students will be awarded full, four-year scholarships including tuition and university fees.

In addition, the President's scholarships are awarded to students with a minimum grade of 97% during the last three years of their secondary education, and they should display outstanding personal abilities. They will receive up to 200% discount on their tuition. These scholarships are awarded to five students each year.

Also, through its Sanabil Financial Aid program, ADU aims to remove all barriers that prevent students from achieving a better future; therefore the Sanabil program supports students whose only constraint in the face of their ambitions is financial.

Other scholarships that were awarded include the University Scholarship, Athletic Scholarship, Family Tuition Discount, Academic Scholarship, Diversity Scholarship, and Environmental Science Scholarship.
