Jazeera Airways flies non-stop to Egypt's town Hurghada

Hosting media from Egypt and Kuwait during the press conference, Al Mershed explained how the airline chose to launch flights to Hurghada due to the resort's growing popularity and the fact that it is a relatively short flight away from Kuwait. He also explained that Jazeera will fly five times a week from Kuwait daily at 11.30pm, with the exception of Tuesday and Friday.

Al Mershed said;
"Tourists from around the globe come to Hurghada, as they are attracted to the natural beauty of the town - its beaches and sea life, as well as to its traditional Egyptian hospitality, and we are very excited that today marks the official launch of Jazeera's non-stop service to the resort. The fact we are flying in the evening means that passengers can easily escape for the weekend straight after work, or maximise their time if planning a longer holiday, and what's more, it's a short four hour flight away. As the only low-fare airline in the region offering direct flights to Hurghada, we look forward to welcoming both existing and new passengers aboard Jazeera this summer season."

The coastal resort of Hurghada, set on Egypt's eastern shores, boasts more than 20 miles of golden beaches, which meet the crystal clear, blue expanse of the Red Sea.

The clean, warm waters of the Red Sea make the coasts rich with sea life and coral reefs - considered among the best in the world and easily viewed by diving, snorkelling or from a glass bottom boat, all of which are easily arranged in the town. Hurghada enjoys some of the best hotels and accommodation in Egypt, and fantastic local and international cuisine from the contemporary influences on the town.

The launch of the new destination comes as part of Jazeera's recent network expansion, which has welcomed an additional five destinations this summer to some of the region's most desirable holiday spots including Iran's beautiful city of gardens, Shiraz; the ancient Syrian city of Aleppo and the picturesque Mediterranean resort of Larnaca in Cyprus.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of ten new Airbus A320s. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in-flight amenities.

The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
