American University of Ras Al Khaimah to manage with UniversiTools software

AURAK, offering an American style curriculum, is located in the northern Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and began operations June 1. The university was established by Royal Decree by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

Professor Sharon Siverts, AURAK President, explains, "Working within a very tight timeframe, we needed a system that facilitates the university's way of working."

She continues, "We met with several vendors but, with UniversiTools, we felt that the product would meet our needs and timeline. We wanted a complete university-based system that could easily be adapted to our uniqueness."

White Mountain Technologies, developer of UniversiTools, will install the software before the opening of the fall semester in September.
