The initiative aims to provide highly customised, specialised and relevant training resources for employees to meet the unique operational needs and further enhance the service standards of the hotel. This will help employees reach their personal and professional goals, guided by Hyatt's global culture and values.

The new training concept is called the "School of Hospitality" and is all about further standardisation of training manuals, and special collateral and presentations for every job and department of the hotel.

Diksha Singh, Training Manager, said:
"These training manuals and presentations will help us ensure that both existing and new employees can be trained or retrained very quickly, and that everybody fulfils the Hyatt concept of providing excellent service and authentic hospitality."

The "School of Hospitality" will further develop and motivate employees to provide levels of service that are consistent, innovative and customer-driven to help ensure that Grand Hyatt Dubai is recognised as a preferred City Conference Resort.

"Grand Hyatt Dubai is proud to launch the 'School of Hospitality', which will benefit both our valued guests and our employees. With this School, we will continuously improve our service standards and service quality, and, in addition, our employees will receive better training to help them develop and grow with Hyatt,"

said Jan Peter van der Ree, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Dubai.
