Tradition and style come together as DSS 2009 Sheila and Abaya Fashion begins June 27

The unique fashion show features collections of local and GCC designers with the aim of showcasing the latest trends in sheilas and abayas.

The four-day event sees 16 designers from UAE and across the region showcase the latest Sheila and abaya fashion in four shows at the Observatory opposite Virgin Megastore in BurJuman. Shows will be held at 5pm, 5:55pm, 6:45pm, and 7:40pm.

From a platform for launching designers to an event that attracts the best names in the Sheila and abaya industry, Sheila and Abaya Fashion has come a long way."

Designers and labels for June 27 include Bait Al Bahraini (Ayesha Ali Yateem), Noir Chic (Kamelya Sultan), Homa Sheila and Abaya (Homa), and Abaya Couture/Badr Al Budoor. June 28 will see the collections of Amal Murad, Hoor Al Ain, Shabana Asif (Shabana Asif) and Al Janaheya Abaya (Mona Mohammed Janahi).

The creations of Haifa Al Nooriji, Dar Al khayal, Queen Crown Collection (Shaymaa Ahmed Al-Aufy), and Diala Kabara (Diala Kabara) will be staged on June 29. The final day on June 30 sees the works of DAS Collections (Reem Ali Beljafla), Velvet Abaya (Kuwait), Scarf (Mariam Murthada Wadiey), and Smooth Lady (Mona Khanbouli).
