The recognition, which was accepted by the Symantec team in Mindware, acknowledges the company's outstanding regional distribution strategy and wide-ranging value added services for Symantec.

Regional Mindware employees also bagged top individual prizes, including Taiseer Mohammed, Product Manager - Consumer Business, Mindware ('Outstanding Individual Contributor FY09 - OEM'); and Shadi Tahan, Business Solutions Department Manager, Mindware, ('Outstanding Individual Performance in Distribution FY09').

Top Mindware officials also pointed to its result-driven and dedicated team of professionals, and extensive network of channel partners who constantly collaborate with the company to enhance their expertise in focused areas, as important drivers of its success. Among Mindware's most recent accomplishments in the region was its recent appointment as the authorised distributor for Huawei Symantec, a joint venture between Huawei Technologies and Symantec, which specialises in the development and production of world leading network security and storage products for telecommunications carriers and enterprises worldwide.
