ITA of Oman holds its board meeting

The Information Technology Authority (ITA) of Oman held its board meeting under the auspices of H.E. Mohammed Nasser Al-Khasibi, Chairman of ITA on the 27th June 2009 at the conference room in ITA premises at Knowledge Oasis Muscat.
Several other matters were discussed in the presence of the chief of divisions of ITA. This includes a review of the final version of the eOman rebranding strategy.
The board discussed issues related to upgrading the e-government services of various stakeholders of eOman.
The successfully concluded 2nd Government eServices Exhibition coinciding with COMEX 2009 was reviewed with various informative data and visual compilations prepared by the Information and Awareness Division of ITA.
Considering the large number of projects undertaken by the ITA, the members of the board also discussed effective means of managing them and follow-up the progress. At the end of the meeting a list of forthcoming events was briefly presented before the board. This board meeting concluded successfully with the ITA Chairman's note of thanks.
