The two prizes collected were two amongst the dozens of competing projects from more than 100 exhibitors that participated in Cityscape Jeddah."
"We in Emaar, the Economic City view our participation in this exhibition as being of paramount importance, for what this exhibition offers from real-estate variety and distinctive real-estate developers on a regional level. Our participation was successful in showcasing, to a large segment of our target audience from the middle-class income, specifications and features of the Hawadi Village which promotes a healthy and responsible lifestyle," added Al-Rasheed.
"Hawadi is designed to be home of the professionals; engineers, doctors, teachers, and specialists in all fields- along with their families, who will work in the City or in neighboring areas. It is being developed with all their needs and aspirations in mind-including affordability. With Hawadi Village, King Abdullah Economic City proves that it does not only target high-income professionals, however the majority of residents, at hand," Al-Rasheed continued by saying.
"Most projects targeted towards middle-income professionals tend to offer very plain, stripped-down houses with limited variety and amenities. On the contrary, Hawadi provides variety in unit sizes and architectural styles, as well as world-class amenities and services, mainly offering 36 options of diverse units from upscale designs," Al Rasheed concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Hawadi is established on an area of 9 million square meters, and is planned to offer 22,000 homes from various units of apartments, deluxe apartments and independent villas.
Hawadi will be home for over 60,000 people over the coming 15 years, and provides a community that nurtures the sense of belonging and sharing amongst all neighbors.
Each neighborhood surrounds a mosque, recreation center and small retail shops, which turn into a meeting and socializing hub for the neighbors.
Almost every daily need is within walking distance (300 meters in most cases) which helps build the sense of belonging to a neighborhood and a community. Hawadi's environment promotes a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Hawadi creates uninterrupted walking and cycling paths for its residents, making the side-walks more suitable for walking and cycling.
Each village in Hawadi is also characterized by its own unique architectural style that is distinct from other neighborhoods.
