Zarqa Private University augments its IT infrastructure in alliance with STS

Zarqa Private University, one of Jordan's universities, enhanced its IT infrastructure in cooperation with STS, Sun's executive level accredited partner for Jordan and Palestine, and Sun authorized partner in Iraq, implementing Unix Labs to advance the educational level of the University.
The Sun Ray 270 is an all-in-one unit that includes a brilliant flat panel monitor. This technology will improve educational business flexibility, and provide secure system clear of any viruses; this technology particularly is well suited for space - constrained environments.
Dr. Muhannad Al-Hasan, IT Director, Zarqa Private University, said, "We make every effort to enhance our educational level to grant our students advanced education. This project aims to consolidate the educational curriculum by building an integrated electronic system and employing information technology as a tool to facilitate mechanisms at high efficiency level to ensure high level of education in Jordan. This was made possible with the support of Prof. Adnan Nayfeh, Zarqa Private University President and Dr. Mahmoud Abu-Shaira Chairman of the Board."
For her part, Ms. Lina Ayesh, Director, Sun Microsystems Solutions and Services in STS, stated, "We believe in the significance of enriching the educational field with the latest technological advancements ensuring a promising and positive outlook for the future, and we are pleased to be partnering with Zarqa Private University, a prominent educational establishment which strives to maintain superior educational level."
