- PRESS RELEASE
Grand Hyatt Amman recently concluded its annual 'Celebrating our People' event which was held by the Human Resources department as an appreciatory gesture to all staff members of the hotel.
This event reinforces the 'people first' philosophy through various activities that are team based.
The first day of the three day celebration commenced with members of the executive committee welcoming all employees entering the hotel on a red carpet. The employees were then invited to lunch at the hotel's Sawani terrace, where Chinese food was served by the management.
On the second day of the annual 'Celebrating our People' experience, a sporting event had its share in the celebration. The hotel organized a number of sport competitions at Amman's Sports City facility where football, swimming, cycling, and tennis saw light-spirited participation amongst employees.
The celebration ended with an employee appreciation party at the hotel's Grand Ballroom, where they enjoyed a show featuring a Jordanian stand up comedian and other entertaining activities in addition to the distribution of various recognition awards.
An annual tradition in the Grand Hyatt chain worldwide, 'Celebrating our People' is a program devised to voice appreciation for the high level of effort employees invest in their work as well as and to strengthen social bonds among employees on the one hand, and between employees and the management on the other.
