Trixee Loh, Senior Vice President at DWTC said:
"In challenging times it is enormously beneficial when organisers take the opportunity to come together to present attendees and visitors with an even greater value proposition and more compelling reasons to attend industry events."
The exhibition is held alongside the regions only dedicated conference, ITCA Middle East Conference organised by the International Travel Catering Association (ITCA), which attracts many industry decision makers from across the region.
Welcoming the announcement, Terry Coyle, Permanent Senior Board Member of the International Travel Catering Association endorsed the move "This is fantastic news. Whilst prospects for the Middle East airline industry are better than most, the industry still has to cut it's cloth to match the current economic reality. This move is sound housekeeping and allows our delegates to take part in a much bigger industry gathering."
Now in its fourth year, ITCA Dubai has rapidly expanded in recent years to bring together the entire travel catering market representing Airline, Cruise, Ferry, and Railway Hospitality industries from across the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent.
With the opening of the Dubai Metro expected to connect DICEC and the airport visitors will find transport between the two venues quick and convenient and have the opportunity to observe Dubai's latest landmark project.
