In his speech Dr. Ruzaiqi, said:
"The achievements scaled during this short period of 3 years has been remarkable and this triumph rests on the shoulders of our staff. Whatever we have achieved is due to the hard work of our colleagues in implementing the strategy through meticulous planning and execution. The projects we handle are so different in nature, focus and purpose but together they enable us to realise the main goals of ITA - eOman. This would not be possible without the commitment and dedication of the staff to the multitude of tasks in our hand. ITA is sincerely committed to empowering the government agencies and the public and this is our earnest mission."
"My thanks are due to everyone one of ITA staff and I sincerely believe that this is the cream of the IT industry that is fuelling the creation of the knowledge-based society of Oman. Every success comes with renewed energy for higher performance requiring all the extra effort we can summon. I am confident that our celebrations will continue in the future, as we make more significant achievements as the eOman society. I wish to announce that the 31st May of every year will be marked with celebrations as ITA day," he added further.
As a main agenda of the celebrations this year, ITA honoured its long-serving employees who were with ITA since its establishment by the royal decree 52/2006 on the 31st May 2006. They were presented with certificate of appreciation and gifts on behalf of the management of ITA.
