Hundreds of students between the ages of 16-18 years competed in the Injaz Company Program known as the 'Battle of the Best'. The annual competition is aimed at developing creativity and sound business skills among the youth through working on specified business ventures. Groups of students get together to effectively form companies and achieve strategic business goals. Students are mentored by professionals within the private sector to help them learn how to be creative and demonstrate strong dedication to their work.
Wataniya Airways Chairman and Managing Director, Abdulsalam Al Bahar, commented in this occasion:
"Establishing Wataniya Airways has taken continuous dedication and devotion from all who have been instrumental in making this new premium airline a success and a business venture that brings pride and joy to Kuwait. We are extremely delighted to be supporting Kuwait's young men and women in further developing themselves."
Adding that Wataniya Airways' role does not stop with its dedication to providing an extraordinary experience to its guests, but extends to being an active member of the community.
He concluded, "We are proud to be part of Injaz Kuwait's youth achievement initiative and we strive to continue our involvement in activities that support the next generation of Kuwaitis."
Wataniya Airways showcased its premium services throughout the "Battle of the Best" day and representatives from the airline were present when the winners, coming from the different schools around Kuwait, were announced. The students have been working on their projects for the last few months and the results of their ventures were submitted to a panel of judges for the conclusion and announcement of the highest achievers.
"We are truly grateful for all our sponsors' support in helping us connect the professional and the educational sectors. Wataniya Airways' innovative business model and community spirit made it a natural choice to support this venture. We are delighted that they have elected to help us in our quest to develop our youth into successful pioneers who will contribute to the flourishing future of Kuwait's economy," said Injaz Kuwait's Chief Executive Officer Rana Kamshad.
