ECSSR presents its publications to educational institutions through Lebanese Business Council

The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) Director General, Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi has announced that the Center will present 72 sets of its 650 Arabic and English publications to various libraries affiliated with universities, colleges and other academic and cultural institutions in Lebanon.

This gift is in recognition of Beirut being named World Book Capital City 2009 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and has been announced in cooperation with the Lebanese Business Council in Abu Dhabi - headed by Engineer Albert Matta - which will forward the publications to the institutions concerned.

This decision came from a need to build and support relations between the ECSSR and other scientific and cultural institutions in the Arab Region like Lebanon.

The Lebanese cooperation is in addition to the many other scientific cooperation agreements and protocols the ECSSR has signed with prestigious institutions and research centers in the Arab World in particular, and the World in general; the total number of which reaches 50.
