Tashyeed Properties holds Annual General Meeting

The meeting, which was held at the Novotel, Al Dana resort, was led by Dr. Kadhem Rajab, Chairman of Tashyeed Properties.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Kadhem Rajab stated:

"This meeting has brought to light all the hard work and achievements accomplished throughout the past year. The main achievement being the establishment of Tashyeed Properties fully owned Construction Company, Tashcon, as well the continuous progress and advancement of Sukoon Tower."

Rajab added, "I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude, to the other board members, the executive management of Tashyeed properties and all the dedicated employees of both Tashyeed and Tashcon for their continuous hard work and outstanding performance during the current state of the property market and the global economic crises."

Dr. Kadhem Rajab continued by saying, "We have approved the board of directors' report as well as the auditor's report for the year 2008."

As part of the agenda the shareholders of the company elected Board of Directors to manage the company's Board for the period 2009-2012. This was followed by a meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors to finalise the new Board Positions.

The Board of Director's confirmed new Tashyeed Board positions as given hereunder:

- Dr. Kadhem Rajab Chairman of the Board, Mr. Salem Al Mannai, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Mr. Redha Rajab Managing Director;

- Other board members include Mr. Shawki Fakhro, Mr. Abdul Hussain Dewani, Mr. Bashar Al Muttawa and Mr. Jawad Al Asfoor.
