Montblanc strengthens regional strategic partnership with Paris Gallery

Luxury goods manufacturer Montblanc, recognized worldwide for its classic timepieces, jewelry, leather goods and writing instruments announced the expansion of its retail distribution network in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a second boutique in the Kingdom, located in Red Sea Mall, Jeddah in partnership with luxury retailer Paris Gallery.

"This is our largest boutique in Saudi Arabia with a third outlet planned in the imminent future which is scheduled to open at the Kingdom Mall in Riyadh," remarked Joe Nahhas, Regional Brand Director of Montblanc.

He noted that the three boutiques will provide Montblanc with country wide coverage in the key cities of Jeddah, Al Khobar and Riyadh.

Mr. Abdullah Al Fahim, Executive Chairman of Paris Gallery, said:
"We are very pleased to strengthen our partnership with Montblanc further and expand our investments in the Saudi market. Through our partnership with Montblanc, we should be able to reach out to a wider base of Montblanc customers in the country and interact more closely with them as we strategically position ourselves in the three key cities thereby affirming our continued commitment to Montblanc to deliver a superior shopping experience and tangible value to our customers."

In synch with the brand's international expansion plans, Montblanc is pursuing new growth opportunities in the Middle East region and constantly on the lookout for new markets as customers in the region are becoming more discerning towards luxury products.

Montblanc's recent strategic investments in the exciting Gulf countries include their own boutiques as well as outlets through franchise partners and shop-in-shop concepts covering the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.

Commenting on Montblanc's strategic partnership with Paris Gallery, Mr Nahhas stressed, "Our partnership with Paris Gallery has resulted in ten shop-in-shops across the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia and we have plans for several more until 2010."

The newly opened Montblanc boutique in Red Sea Mall will showcase a comprehensive range of Montblanc products including the brand's fine jewellery collection and the unique Montblanc Diamond which is artistically cut in the shape of the Montblanc star - a homage to Montblanc's trademark, the embodiment of highest European quality, passionate perfection and traditional craftsmanship.

Montblanc products are in high demand as regional consumers seek out bespoke and limited-editions over a straight forward approach to luxury and the products are also highly popular among celebrities and stars.
