The opening of the new branch in Sharjah brings the Attijari Al Islami branches to a total of four, including two in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi. The bank plans to open two more Attijari Al Islami branches in the 2nd half of 2009.

The prestigious Sharia Supervisory Board of 'Attijari Al Islami' consists of prominent Islamic scholars and is chaired by Dr Hussain Hamed Hassan. The Sharia Supervisory Board is responsible for reviewing, approving and overseeing all 'Attijari Al Islami' Sharia product offerings. It is responsible for certifying and endorsing strict adherence to the principles of Sharia in all products and services.
