The visit included a detailed presentation of eSense's history and their lineup of innovative solutions, in addition to an overview of their future prospects and expansion plans. Several important issues were discussed during the visit, such as the challenges facing the IT sector in the Kingdom and the actions needed to secure greater development in the sector in the near future.
Al Roussan expressed pleasure at eSense's progress over the years, reaffirming the faith he has in the company's ability to contribute to the betterment of Jordan's IT sector.
Commenting on the Minister's visit, eSense's CEO Samer Maslamani said:
"We are indeed very pleased that His Excellency chose to visit our headquarters, which is a testament to the positive reputation eSense has garnered over the years. This visit also constitutes a great motivation for our team to continue spurring the Jordanian IT industry even further toward innovativeness and long-term development."
At the conclusion of the visit, Al Roussan toured the different departments of the company and interacted with various members of its staff.
It is worth noting that eSense had undergone significant changes over the period between 2008 and 2009, not the least of which is the immense expansion of their staff, which grew from 100 to 200 employees in less than a year.
Additionally, the company enjoyed growing activity in the gulf region despite the current economic recession. eSense had also launched 3 supplementary branches in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE, all of which became fully operational as of this year.
