Agility scoops top industry prize at the Middle East Logistics Awards

Agility, the global specialist in integrated logistics for businesses and governments, is pleased to announce it has been awarded Best Logistics Services Provider (BLSP) at the 3rd Annual Middle East Logistics Awards (3rd MELA), held in Dubai last week.

The BLSP Award is given to the company which provides the best supply chain management solutions, including integrated operation, warehousing and transportation services. This year, Agility beat 13 others to this prestigious award.

Agility boasts a fleet of over 3000 vehicles in the Middle East that supports a comprehensive network of warehousing and distribution services in the region, offering customer-driven solutions dedicated to meeting its customers' supply chain needs.

In MELA's inaugural Awards, Agility scooped 4 Awards, including: Best Road Hauler, Best Land Freight Forwarder and Best Logistics Service Provider in 3PL & Perishable Goods. In 2008, it won Best Road Hauler for the second consecutive time.

The 3rd annual ceremony featured 22 categories celebrating the commitment of logistics companies to providing the highest quality of service to their customers, as well as the innovations and contributions they have made to the overall development of the Middle East logistics industry.

The awards were organized by Eventis, Event Organizers in Dubai and the ceremony was attended by professionals from the regional logistics industry. The winners were chosen through an online voting process which went through a comprehensive audit and was evaluated by a panel of experts in the freight forwarding, cargo and supply chain sectors.
