Land transactions in Dubai top Dhs356.66m

The total value of land transactions in Dubai today peaked at 356.66m, of which sales exceeded Dhs106.23m.
A total of 6 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barshaa South Third that was sold for Dhs10.633586m.
The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Third acquired for the sum of Dhs6.8m and another in Um Suqaim Second for Dhs4m.
The Ranches area was the most active in terms of the day's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Barshaa South Third followed it with 1 sales.
During the period, Al Barshaa South Third recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs10.63m, followed by the Ranches area, Dhs6.94m, and Emirates Hills Third area, Dhs6.8m.
The biggest area sold was the 40509 sq ft in the Al Barshaa South Third area, which went for Dhs10.63m. A 10942 sq ft plot in the Emirates Hills Third Area was acquired for Dhs6.8m, while 10035 sq ft of Ranches was disposed of for Dhs4m.
During the period under review 36 mortgages worth Dhs211.26m were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs100m for an area at Al Raffa. There was another for Dhs25m on an area in Jumeirah First
Apartments and villas in freehold areas witnessed the registration of 71 sales transaction out of which 67 were for apartments for a total of 69.20m and 4 for villas at a total sum of Dhs6.71m.
A total of 11 mortgages for Dhs38.47m were registered on villas and apartments
