Stressing Brunner's expertise in the film industry, Imagenation Abu Dhabi CEO Ed Borgerding said, "Stefan has been a tremendous asset to the company and has earned this promotion. He is a talented executive and will be instrumental for the continued growth and success of Imagenation Abu Dhabi."

Since its launch, Imagenation Abu Dhabi has established partnerships with high-profile, internationally-based producers to develop and produce content for global distribution. Existing partnerships include: National Geographic Entertainment, Hyde Park Entertainment, Participant Media and Warner Bros.
Brunner commented:

Brunner previously headed up the Munich-based Entertainment Value Associates' production financing activities where, among other titles, he co-produced the animated series Wolverine & The X-Men for Marvel.
Before that, he was engaged by Tandem Communications as its Head of Business Affairs, where he was actively involved in the company's television co-production and co-financing ventures.
Prior to his work in Munich and following his business studies in the United States, Brunner was at Bertelsmann AG's subsidiary in Seoul, South Korea where he spearheaded joint marketing activities during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He holds a bachelor degree in business administration from the University of San Diego as well as an MBA in media management from Steinbeis University Berlin.
Imagenation Abu Dhabi develops, finances and produces full length feature films and digital content for Arabic and global markets.
From its base in Abu Dhabi, the company is establishing partnerships with high-profile, internationally-based producers as well as supporting Middle East filmmakers and Arabian film productions. H.E. Mohamed Khalaf Al-Mazrouei is the Chairman and Edward Borgerding is the Chief Executive Officer.
