TACs 2009 calendar voted at One Club's Public Choice awards

The calendar which has been voted in One Club's 'public choice' voting arena, uses the perennial concept of 'discounts' to quantify the savings one can make when it comes to the environment. It informs people of simple, everyday things they can do to save precious resources and in turn help save the environment.

The One Club, New York exists to champion and promote excellence in advertising and design in all its forms. It is the world's foremost non-profit organization devoted to elevating creative work in the industry and is the 'keeper of the flame' for advertising creatives. And it remains a pinnacle of achievement by providing a showcase of the world's best work, and by inviting collaboration among individuals that are actively developing outstanding work.

TAC on their part, have always aimed to be environmentally-responsible through their many Eco-Drive campaigns and initiatives throughout Oman. More often than not, eco-initiatives don't clearly tell people tangible, practical things that can be done to prevent environmental damage. Through their 2009 calendar, TAC wanted to make people realize that it is ultimately them who will benefit from the caring of the environment. The calendar was designed by TAC's advertising agency DDB Oman.

"The environmental movement has ensured that almost every big business now assesses the impact of its actions on the planet. At TAC, we too have done our bit and are continuing to do so with regard to our environment and its upkeep and this forms the core of our CSR initiatives.
