DTCM Manager, Overseas Promotion, Ibrahim Ahli called MITT a promising event, where the emirate has always been popular and successful in attracting travel and tourism professionals to the Dubai stand. "In past, this event has brought fruitful results and this year will be no different. Last year about 65,000 quality visitors were present at the venue to gather serious information. This is our 10th year at the event and we are equipped with far more features. We will showcase the emirates' impressive recreational facilities and development plans like Dubai Summer Surprises, annual IMF/World Bank Conference, Arabian Travel Market and many more at the event," said Mr. Ahli

He said that Dubai has always regarded Russia and CIS states as an impressive market, yielding positive results. "The fact that we are leading a team of 52 co-participant, indicates the interest and keenness of Dubai in utilizing the market potential of Russia to the maximum. This is the highest number of representation from Dubai since the inception of the event in 1994. Our business as usual approach sends the strong message across the industry and reaffirmed our seriousness in promoting Dubai," detailed Mr. Ahli.

Mr. Ahli stated that Dubai gains extensively by participating in the MITT. " It not only helps us to maintain existing business contacts but also leads to establishing new ones and in receiving latest and up-to date market information and trends," he added.

Mr. Ahli noted that the Dubai stand will be showcasing the emirate's rich past as well as its vibrant present, and will provide visitors complete information covering all their needs.
