  • PRESS RELEASE

Summer Training for Emirati students kicked off at the UAE based conglomerate S.S. Lootah Group, with students' reception and meeting with Eng. Yahya Lootah, Vice Chairman-CEO.

He was keen to meet the students on their first day to support and motivate them to avail of this opportunity.

"It's important to utilise self-learning as a competitive advantage while in training, only then will you be able raise your level of efficiency and experience to meet the expectations of employers after your graduation,"
said Eng. Yahya Lootah, addressing the students.

This summer, the students will actively contribute to projects of the Group's subsidiaries ZAS/PSE and Lootah BCGas, in the areas of architecture and gas infrastructure respectively. They will also work closely with departments within S.S. Lootah to execute real-time projects in areas such as PR, graphic design, production and event management in Marketing; recruitment and other staffing functions in HR and Database Management Systems and network infrastructure in IT.

Fatma Lootah, Community Programs Manager at S.S. Lootah Group said, "Each year, Mustakbali offers valuable knowledge and experience in core business areas. This time, we are going one step further by focusing on personal development. The students will have the unique opportunity to take the MBTI test for psychometric assessment. We are also inviting accomplished business leaders and entrepreneurs as guest speakers to provide insights on subjects such as entrepreneurship, business excellence, and marketing sustainability, to inspire and motivate the students to explore their potential."

Committed to nurturing a new generation of future leaders, in-line with the vision of the UAE leadership, the S.S. Lootah Group established Mustakbali, Arabic for 'My Future', a program that strives to empower Emirati students to build their own future along with that of the country.

Students who avail of the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with various departments and business units of the Group are offered full-time employment upon graduation.
