Commenting on this innovative launch, KHCB's Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Ibrahim, has said:
"KHCB has recently made consistent and ambitious steps forward towards developing its offerings to the market. The Al Waffer Account is a reflection of our strategy which focuses on responding to our customers' needs and continuously updating our products and services offered to them."
Ibrahim added, "The Al Waffer will provide customers with an opportunity to win cash prizes every month, besides bigger prizes every quarter and a mega prize at the end of the year. Other features of Al Waffer include the payment of profits on deposits available in the account and the facility to withdraw from and deposit into the Al Waffer account during the normal business hours of the Bank's branches."
KHCB has been recently awarded for "Best New Product for 2009" at the prestigious Banker Middle East Industry Awards for 2009. The event which was held in Bahrain recently, was attended by dignitaries, regulators, senior bankers, government officials, and academics from around the region.
