Paolo De Renzis, British Airways' Area Commercial Manager Middle East, said:
"The uptake we have experienced during our first month of operations on both the Riyadh and Jeddah route has been extremely positive and our confidence in the Kingdom is demonstrated through our increased in capacity on our Jeddah service."
"Saudi Arabia continues to be a vitally important market for British Airways and we are positive that our award winning products and services along with our worldwide network of more than 150 destinations will continue to attract our customers in the Kingdom," added De Renzis.
For the duration of British Airways' summer schedule, which runs until the end of October, a 4-class Boeing 777 will operate the five weekly Riyadh flights, while a Boeing 767 will serve the five weekly Jeddah services.
