Ruwad enhances skills of SME owners in Sharjah

120 owners of small and medium-sized projects participated in six workshops organized by Ruwad Establishment over the past four months.

Various topics and programs were presented during these workshops to help business owners and leaders develop their skills in establishing and running small and medium-sized projects efficiently, while also enhancing their ability to keep up with fierce competition.

The first two workshops, entitled "How to start your own small project", spanned two days each, with 45 male and female participants attending lectures and intense training sessions on the basic fundamentals of choosing and establishing the right project, and the challenges faced along this path.

The third workshop focused on enhancing leadership skills, including teamwork leadership and making the right leadership decision at the right time in different situations, creating an independent vision when leading projects, and how to gain effective leadership characteristics when managing small projects.

During the fourth workshop, participants took a look at how to calculate the costs of small and medium-sized projects, how to prepare and calculate investment costs of establishing projects, how to calculate and control operating costs, and how to calculate the actual costs of products and services without hindering operation processes or adding additional costs to the project.

"Modern trends in running small projects" were discussed at the fifth workshop, with the focus on the latest updates, the development of productive and developmental abilities of projects, preparing quality industrial service and commercial projects, maintaining quality standards, and how to avoid internal and external failure. Choosing project headquarters according to project activity was also discussed at this event.

The final workshop, entitled "How to investment my skill", was attended by students of the College of Society in Sharjah. Here they discussed the skills of the individuals and the ways needed to develop these skills, how to broaden the senses of individuals and direct them to efficiently invest their skills in the best way, in line with their ambitions and expectations.

This was done using a scientific point of view that is based upon successful individual experiences that transforms individuals from ambitious individuals with basic ideas to big names in the world of finance and investment, with the outstanding ability to seek out potential opportunities.
